Privacyverklaring

Velo Version is een gratis, niet-commerciële dienst die firmware- en software-releases bijhoudt. Er zijn geen gebruikersaccounts, abonnementen, advertenties of analysetools. Deze verklaring beschrijft de beperkte persoonsgegevens die in verband met de dienst worden verwerkt.

Wat wordt vastgelegd

Alleen de technische gegevens om een verzoek te beantwoorden: IP-adres, tijdstip, pagina en browser.

Vragen en verzoeken

Schrijf naar [email protected]; verzoeken worden binnen één maand beantwoord.

Verwerkingsverantwoordelijke

Velo Version wordt vanuit Nederland beheerd. Vragen over deze verklaring en verzoeken met betrekking tot persoonsgegevens kunnen worden gericht aan [email protected].

Verwerkte gegevens

Wanneer de website wordt bezocht, registreren de servers en de netwerkaanbieder automatisch de technische gegevens die nodig zijn om een verzoek te beantwoorden:

  • het IP-adres
  • de datum en het tijdstip van het verzoek
  • de opgevraagde pagina of het opgevraagde bestand en de responsstatus
  • de user-agent-tekenreeks van de browser

De dienst vraagt niet om namen of e-mailadressen, biedt bezoekers geen formulieren, bouwt geen profielen op en volgt bezoekers niet op andere websites.

Doel en rechtsgrond

Deze technische gegevens worden uitsluitend gebruikt om de website te leveren, de beveiliging te waarborgen, misbruik te voorkomen en fouten te herstellen. De rechtsgrond is het gerechtvaardigd belang bij het beheren van een veilige en goed werkende website (artikel 6, lid 1, onder f, AVG). Toegangslogboeken worden slechts korte tijd bewaard en daarna verwijderd of overschreven.

Dienstverlener die IP-adressen ontvangt

  • Cloudflare levert het verkeer van de website en beschermt deze tegen misbruik. Verzoeken aan Velo Version lopen via het netwerk van Cloudflare.

Cloudflare ontvangt het IP-adres en de browsergegevens van de bezoeker omdat verzoeken aan de website via het netwerk van Cloudflare lopen. Op verdere verwerking is de eigen privacyverklaring van Cloudflare van toepassing.

Verstrekking

Persoonsgegevens worden niet verkocht. Zij worden niet verstrekt aan anderen dan de hierboven genoemde dienstverlener, die ze uitsluitend verwerkt in het kader van het leveren van de website.

Rechten van betrokkenen

Op grond van de AVG kunnen personen verzoeken om inzage in, rectificatie of verwijdering van hun persoonsgegevens en bezwaar maken tegen de verwerking. Omdat bezoekers door de dienst niet worden geïdentificeerd, kunnen een IP-adres en een tijdvak nodig zijn om relevante gegevens te vinden. Verzoeken kunnen worden gericht aan [email protected] en worden binnen één maand beantwoord.

Wijzigingen

Belangrijke wijzigingen in deze verklaring, bijvoorbeeld de invoering van analysetools of gebruikersaccounts, worden op deze pagina gepubliceerd met een bijgewerkte datum.

Bij verschillen tussen de vertalingen is de Engelse tekst leidend.
