No user accounts, subscriptions, advertising or analytics.

What is recorded

Only the technical data needed to answer a request: IP address, time, page and browser.

Questions and requests

Write to [email protected]; requests are answered within one month.

Controller

Velo Version is operated from the Netherlands. Enquiries about this notice, and requests relating to personal data, may be sent to [email protected].

Data processed

When the website is visited, the servers and the network provider automatically record the technical data required to respond to a request:

  • the IP address
  • the date and time of the request
  • the page or file requested and the response status
  • the browser's user-agent string

The service does not request names or e-mail addresses, offers no forms to visitors, does not build profiles and does not track visitors across other websites.

This technical data is used solely to deliver the website, maintain its security, prevent abuse and correct errors. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Access logs are retained for a short period only and are then deleted or overwritten.

Service provider that receives IP addresses

  • Cloudflare delivers the website's traffic and protects it against abuse. Requests to Velo Version pass through Cloudflare's network.

Cloudflare receives the visitor's IP address and browser details because requests to the website pass through its network. Its own privacy policy governs any further processing.

Disclosure

Personal data is not sold. It is not disclosed to any party other than the service provider listed above, which processes it only as part of delivering the website.

Rights of data subjects

Under the GDPR, individuals may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal data held about them, and may object to its processing. As visitors are not identified by the service, an IP address and a time period may be required to locate relevant records. Requests may be sent to [email protected] and will be answered within one month.

Changes

Material changes to this notice, for example the introduction of analytics or user accounts, will be published on this page together with an updated date.
