About

About Velo Version

Velo Version is an independent reference for official software and firmware releases across cars, phones, robots and other connected products. For each model it records what was released, when it was released and what changed.

Every model has its own release history, a plain-language changelog and a feed. The service is intended for owners who need to establish quickly which version is current and what an update contains, without consulting individual vendor pages.

Official sources only

Releases come from vendor release-notes pages and feeds, not from rumours or leaks.

Every release has a source

Each release shows where it came from and when it was last checked.

Know where you stand

Pick the version you run and see what you have missed. Every model has an RSS feed.

How a release gets in

  • An automated visitor, Baykus, checks vendor pages and feeds on a schedule and picks up versions it has not seen.
  • Where a vendor blocks robots, a person enters the release notes by hand.
  • New finds from sources we do not fully trust are reviewed by a person before they appear.

What we cover

Software and firmware releases for vehicles, phones, platforms and robots, with new categories added over time.

Beta

Velo Version is free and non-commercial, operated from the Netherlands. No accounts, no advertising, no analytics.
