This notice describes how Velo Version uses cookies and similar browser storage.

No cookies for visitors

Velo Version does not set cookies for visitors.

No advertising, no tracking

No advertising or analytics cookies, and visitors are not tracked.

Stays on your device

The chosen theme and version are stored in your browser and are never sent to Velo Version.

Summary

Browser storage used

  • Local storage. The selected theme (light or dark) and the version chosen in the "Your version" card are stored in the browser so that they are remembered on the next visit. They remain on the visitor's device and are never sent to Velo Version.
  • Session storage. When the full list of releases is opened, the site remembers this for the current tab so that the list remains open when moving between versions. It remains on the device and is deleted when the tab is closed.

Cookies for site editors only

The editor console, which is not accessible to visitors, uses a session cookie and a security token to keep editors signed in and to protect forms. These are strictly necessary and exist only after an editor has signed in.

Cookies from the network provider

Traffic passes through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the website against abuse. These are not used for advertising or to track visitors across websites.

Third-party content

Typefaces, icons and stylesheets are served from Velo Version's own servers. No third-party content is loaded for them, so nothing is sent to a third party for this purpose.

Choices

Cookies can be deleted or blocked, and site storage cleared, at any time in the browser settings. The website continues to function without them.

Changes

Should analytics or other optional cookies be introduced, consent will be requested beforehand and this page will be updated.

Questions may be sent to [email protected].
